Pak­istani author­i­ties reported that 15 pea­cocks at Lahore’s Safari Park have died of H5N1 avian flu on 11 Jan­u­ary 2012. The deaths occurred over the past seven days. Chick­ens on nearby poul­try farms had pre­vi­ously been found to have the dis­ease.
