Other University of Washington Services

The UW Clinical Psychology program is consistently ranked among the top five in the US and Canada, while the UW School of Nursing is ranked 1st in the nation, and the UW Medical School is ranked 9th in the nation. The University is committed to interdisciplinary programs and to reducing the institutional barriers between investigators.

The University of Washington’s Psychological Services and Training Center (The Clinic) provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment to residents of the Seattle metropolitan area, including University of Washington students and their families. The UW Department of Psychology partially subsidizes the training function of the Clinic, which allows it to offer psychological services at substantially reduced fees. This fee policy enables them to reach many typically underserved populations such as low-income, ethnic and sexual minorities, as well as children and families.

The Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics (BRTC) which Dr. Linehan directs is associated with a national and international consortium of clinical, neurobiological, and intervention researchers.
