The Sixth Annual Pacific Rim Regional Cyber Defense Com­pe­ti­tion will be held March 23 and 24, 2013, and will be hosted by High­line Com­mu­nity Col­lege (Direc­tion and Hotel Reservation).This event is an inte­gral part of cur­ricu­lum for the Cen­ter for Infor­ma­tion Assur­ance and Cyber­se­cu­rity at the Uni­ver­sity of Wash­ing­ton, and pro­vides real world cyber­se­cu­rity and infor­ma­tion assur­ance expe­ri­ence that can­not be repli­cated in a class­room, mak­ing the stu­dents bet­ter trained and pre­pared when they grad­u­ate. Lodg­ing and other details for the PRCCDC will be pro­vided under sep­a­rate cover prior to the event. The win­ning team will con­tinue to the National CCDC, to be held in April 2013 in San Anto­nio, TX.
