I can’t believe I just discovered computer games! OK, I loved space invaders and pacman as a kid but never really got RPG or other games until just recently… and me a self-respecting web dev and everything. Now I’ll finally know what my coworkers are talking about.
So far, I’ve been mostly into the hidden object/puzzle games with one of my favorites being “Lost Chronicles: Fall of Caesar” by National Geographic. It’s probably too easy for most but I enjoyed the settings and learning some things I didn’t know about Brutus’ campaign.
Just attended the Greater Seattle Linux Users Group (http://www.gslug.org/) and got a chance to check out a couple Raspberry Pis (http://www.raspberrypi.org/). They’re so cool. One of the folks even had a lego case for it.
Some models have a built-in ethernet. I guess you can purchase the most barebones model for $25 (just a week’s worth of lattes) or get the slightly more expensive model for about $40.

take up so much time?
The leap second seems to have had an outrageous effect on computing systems. Not too bad for me except backups and other cron jobs that couldn’t run b/c they didn’t know what time it was.
