The Community-Engaged Leaders (CEL) program, housed in the Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity (EXPD), offers undergraduate students a structured opportunity to connect a variety of community engagement experiences and develop leadership capacity for effective and respectful community work.
Students from ALL majors are welcome to participate. Upon admission to the CEL program, students are assigned a mentor who will help them customize and define their experiences, creating a Personal Development Plan. CEL students participate in a cohort, attending quarterly meetings throughout the year, with the expectation of completing the program within two years.
