I am an infectious disease epidemiologist and a fierce advocate of evidence-based solutions to improve and maintain vaginal health. My research focuses on questions that interface between the vaginal microbiome and HIV/STI prevention. I am also the Associate Director of the Microbicide Trials Network Statistical and Data Management Center, an NIH-supported research network that focuses on reducing sexual transmission of HIV through the development and evaluation antiretroviral-based microbicides (http://www.mtnstophiv.org).
This website is in development, so please check back again soon for more information about my work and potential research opportunities. If you are a current or prospective student who is interested in working on issues related to the vaginal microbiome, women’s health or infectious diseases, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
