Con­grat­u­la­tions on your admis­sion to the Civil & Envi­ron­men­tal Engi­neer­ing Department’s grad­u­ate pro­gram! We hope you will be join­ing us this fall.

If you are accept­ing admis­sion, and have not indi­cated that in your online appli­ca­tion yet, please do so as soon as pos­si­ble so we will know your inten­tion.  We would like your deci­sion by June 1 if at all pos­si­ble, or at the lat­est July 1 so we can final­ize admissions.

 Inter­na­tional appli­cants, after indi­cat­ing your inten­tion to attend, you will receive infor­ma­tion regard­ing what the Grad­u­ate School needs in order to process your I-20. They will not begin that process until you have indi­cated you are accept­ing admi­si­son in your application.

A week or two after accept­ing admis­sion, an Enroll­ment Con­fir­ma­tion Deposit (ECD) form will be sent to you. PMP stu­dents will receive this from the Pro­fes­sional and Con­tin­u­ing Edu­ca­tion Office by email. The Registrar’s Office will send the form to research track master’s and PhD stu­dents by postal mail a week or two after indi­cat­ing your accep­tance of admission.

The enroll­ment deposit is $250 and will be cred­ited to your stu­dent account your first quar­ter of enrollment.

After your deposit has been received, you be given instruc­tions for set­ting up your UW NetID and UW Email account.  The CEE depart­ment only uses UW emails to com­mu­ni­cate with our stu­dents, so be sure to check that account reg­u­larly, or have it set up to for­ward to an account you do use, oth­er­wise you might miss very impor­tant pro­gram information.
