Congratulations on your admission to the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department’s graduate program! We hope you will be joining us this fall.
If you are accepting admission, and have not indicated that in your online application yet, please do so as soon as possible so we will know your intention. We would like your decision by June 1 if at all possible, or at the latest July 1 so we can finalize admissions.
International applicants, after indicating your intention to attend, you will receive information regarding what the Graduate School needs in order to process your I-20. They will not begin that process until you have indicated you are accepting admisison in your application.
A week or two after accepting admission, an Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) form will be sent to you. PMP students will receive this from the Professional and Continuing Education Office by email. The Registrar’s Office will send the form to research track master’s and PhD students by postal mail a week or two after indicating your acceptance of admission.
If you believe you should have received this form by now and have not, please contact Jen Ross (jenross1@uw.edu) if you have been admitted to the PMP, and Lorna Latal (ceginfo@uw.edu) if you are on the research track.
The enrollment deposit is $250 and will be credited to your student account your first quarter of enrollment.
After your deposit has been received, you be given instructions for setting up your UW NetID and UW Email account. The CEE department only uses UW emails to communicate with our students, so be sure to check that account regularly, or have it set up to forward to an account you do use, otherwise you might miss very important program information.
