Jetpack Updated to 1.2.1

Overview

Jet­pack has been updated to ver­sion 1.2.1 from our pre­vi­ous ver­sion of 1.1. Notable func­tion­al­ity added is the abil­ity to add site sub­scrip­tions which allows users to sign up to receive noti­fi­ca­tions of new posts. Addi­tional wid­gets and search engine sub­mis­sion fea­tures are also included.

How to Activate

Jet­pack is not acti­vated as part of a stan­dard blog pack­age, but is included as a plu­gin you can man­u­ally acti­vate. Go to “Plu­g­ins” and then “Installed Plu­g­ins” and then acti­vate “Jet­pack.” Note that you will need a WordPress.com user account to acti­vate Jetpack.
