Ode­gaard Under­grad­u­ate Library, 40 & Fabulous

The Ode­gaard Under­grad­u­ate Library is one of the largest under­grad­u­ate libraries in the coun­try. The vision of Charles Ode­gaard, for­mer pres­i­dent of the Uni­ver­sity of Wash­ing­ton (1958–1973), the under­grad­u­ate library was built in 1972 to be the pri­mary cen­ter on cam­pus for under­grad­u­ate learn­ing and research. Today it is a place of strong com­mu­nity and col­lab­o­ra­tion for teach­ing and a rich learn­ing envi­ron­ment for stu­dents and faculty.
