We’re very for­tu­nate to have Vis­it­ing Artist Pablo Luis Rivera with us this quar­ter to teach the Afro Puerto Rican tra­di­tion of bomba. The UW School of Music presents the annual Eth­no­mu­si­col­ogy Vis­it­ing Artist Con­cert Tues­day, May 21, 7:30 p.m. in Meany The­ater ($20 gen­eral, $12 students/seniors). This year’s con­cert fea­tures Hin­dus­tani vocal­ist Sri­vani Jade and Sene­galese drum mas­ter Thione Diop.
