Blogs Network upgraded to WordPress 4.9.13

At approximately 3:00 pm Friday, January 10th, the UW Blogs Network is being updated to the current WordPress version (4.9.13) for a security release.

Occa­sion­ally, sites with one of the older UW based themes do not update correctly.  If your site is one of them, try this sim­ple workaround:

1. Login to https://blogs.uw.edu/{sitename}/wp-admin/themes.php
   1. Be sure and change ‘{site­name}’ to the actual name of your site, usu­ally your netid or a depart­men­tal netid.
2. Acti­vate a different theme.
3. Re-activate the orig­i­nal theme. — that should clear up the problem.
4. If that does not clear up the problem, it is possible that the theme is not compatible with PHP 7, in which case please see the following post:  http://blogs.uw.edu/blog/2016/10/07/notes-from-recent-php-7-update-on-uw-blogs/
