GEN ST 297 J “Emerging Identities: Southeast Asian Scholarship & Visibility”

The Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity is pleased to announce a new course offering for Winter Quarter 2015!

The new seminar entitled, GEN ST 297 J “Emerging Identities:  Southeast Asian Scholarship & Visibility” focuses on maximizing students’ learning potential and Southeast Asian identity.  We will have guest speakers, examine the histories of Southeast Asian populations, work on study skills, and discuss tips for self-care.  These are just some of the things that we will focus on, but the dialogues in the class will also provide for a very rich and engaging environment for students.

If you know any students who would be interested in registering for the seminar, I’m happy to add them to the course.  It is a 1 CR/NC course and meets on Tuesdays from 2:30 – 3:50 in MGH 228.  Please have students send me an email at to be added to the class.

Thanks so much and we hope you enjoy the week and the upcoming holidays!

Warm Regards,
