I primarily study gas-phase chemistry and ozone production. Currently, I am working to understand the drivers of ozone production in smoke plumes as they are transported downwind, as smoke impacts on ozone are highly variable and not well understood. As part of the FIREX campaign, I study these downwind impacts on ozone when smoke plumes are intercepted by urban areas. During the summer of 2019, I will take part in field experiments at Mount Bachelor Observatory (Bend, OR) and in Boise, ID.
