The WSDOT Bridge office in Tumwater, WA (near Olympia) is looking for well qualified interns for this summer. The group this advertisement is coming from is performing bridge inspections and ratings across the state, so you will get a hands-on structures experience on several different structures, see new corners of the state, work on your structures assessment and analysis skills, and work with an experienced team of WSDOT bridge engineers.

Several of those internships were followed up with permanent employment offers. While there is no guarantee for that, it sure is a great opportunity.
