CEE majors (especially Honors program students) interested in the Bonderman Travel Fellowships… Info Session on Thurs. and deadline on Monday….
Hello and happy 2018,
This is a reminder that the final information session for the 2018 Bonderman Fellowship is this Thursday, 1/4, 4:30-5:30 pm in the Allen Auditorium, Allen Library, and we hope to see you there!
Additionally, the application deadline is next MONDAY, January 8, 2018, 12 noon (PST).
This fellowship offers University of Washington graduate/professional and undergraduate students (from the Seattle, Tacoma, and Bothell campuses) an opportunity to engage in independent exploration and travel abroad. Up to eight graduate and eight undergraduate Bonderman Fellowships will be awarded in spring 2018. Each Fellowship carries a $23,000 award to be used only for extended solo international travel. Fellows may not conduct research, pursue an academic project, or participate in a formal program or organization.
Bonderman Fellows will undertake international travel on their own for eight months, to six or more countries in two or more major regions of the world. Through solo travel the Fellows will focus on exploration and discovery, learning about the world and themselves in it.
