Data Collecting Job from April 2 to April 13
The Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics (SCTL) Center in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the UW is hiring students for part-time work spring quarter 2018.
$19/hour with a flexible schedule and up to 19.5 hours a week.
This position will require working in a team to study “last mile” delivery system in downtown Seattle. We will be monitoring carrier’s delivery activities including parking, building access, physical delivery, inventory sign-off and even payment. Job requirements include:
- Travel to downtown Seattle
- Ability to work outside
- Be comfortable and friendly to approach carriers for asking a few questions
- Recording dataon a smartphone and a GPS device
- Ability to collect, review, and edit datausing Excel
- Attention to detail a must
- Strong communication skills are required to communicate in writing
- Available from April 2 to April 13
- Working shifts consist of (schedule can be flexible based on your time availability):
- Morning shift: 9 am to 12 pm
- Afternoon shift: 12 pm to 4 pm
