EVENING WITH INDUSTRY

Evening with Industry is a career fair and banquet that UW-SWE organizes annually. It’s open to all students looking for internships, co-ops, and full time employment in the fields of engineering, science, or technology. Hosted in UW’s own Husky Union Building (HUB) on campus.

The 34th annual Evening with Industry event is going to be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.

12:30-5:00pm – Career Fair in North Ballroom
6:00-7:30pm – Banquet Dinner in South Ballroom

A great triumph for the United States is the redevelopment and revitalization of the 16-acre World Trade Center site in New York. Dr. Rahimian served as Engineer of Record on the newly completed One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower), which reaches 105 stories and 1,776 feet. His presentation will discuss the challenges and successes of rebuilding on a site of historical significance, cultural sensitivity, and community fortitude. Continue reading
