Please read the following instructions carefully if you plan to graduate this summer quarter.

Submit Master’s Degree Request:

When you log in you will be able to run an audit to see if you meet the Graduate School requirements. You will be able to see classes that meet the requirements, and classes that are in progress – that don’t have a grade submitted yet.

After submission of the Master’s Degree Request, the Advising Office will conduct a degree audit (we typically begin those about mid-quarter) to be sure you are meeting departmental requirements and will let you know when yours has been completed. Before your degree audit can be done, your approved Program Plan (updated if necessary), needs to be submitted to the Advising Office. Thesis students submit your plan to Lorna, PMP/Non-thesis students submit your plan to Jen Ross. You can find 2013-2014 Program Plans on our website at:

International students on an F-1 visa: You must submit the Master’s request the quarter you have met the degree requirements for the Master’s degree. You cannot register for another quarter after you have met the requirements. This is an immigration regulation and it could cause severe problems with your visa status if you do not graduate when you have met the requirements. Check with the ISS office if you have any questions about this regulation.
