Tea Art and Culture of China

Join senior tea artist Yin Na as she speaks on the Tea Art and Culture of China. Yin Na is a tea expert and cultural educator visiting the Seattle area from the city of Chongqing. She is the author of a book on tea: “Tea Art of China” and producer of a tea education website, TeaArtofChina.com.

The presentation introduces various types of tea, tea growing regions, microclimates, and cultural traditions of China.

In China, each province features its own tea plants and different ethnic groups have their own unique processing traditions, tea ceremonies, and ancient customs as well.

Participants can sample a variety of top Chinese tea and learn how to brew a perfect cup of tea!
