Minority Access National Diversity & Inclusion Internship Program

Application Deadline: March 1, 2020 for full-time summer internships

The Minority Access National Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to merge academic theory with practical application in the work place through full time and part time internships. The program allows talented college students to experience the full scope and diversity of career opportunities available in the management, professional and technical domains of participating entities. All internships are paid positions; graduate and professional students receive a stipend of $550 per week. Minority Access, Inc. additionally provides round trip travel expenses, employment benefits and assistance in locating housing.

There are several benefits to the Minority Access National Internship Program:

  • Upon completion of the summer internship program, interns receive special achievement certificates and/or awards
  • Interns have the opportunity to attend special seminars and workshops to enhance their professional and personal development
  • A team of professionals, most with experience in postsecondary administration and/or employment counseling and placement, is available at all times to offer guidance and lend assistance and
  • Students may receive academic credit for internships. Students should advise Minority Access of eligibility requirements after checking with the appropriate office on their campuses.

Eligibility 

  • All academic majors are welcome to apply
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled full time
  • Sophomores, juniors, seniors, as well as graduate and professional students are encouraged to apply
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • In most cases minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on 4.0 scale is required
  • The Program is not restricted to minority students
