The Rachel Royston Scholarship is open to women educators who are bona fide residents of Washington State, and who are working on post baccalaureate studies in the field of education at a nationally or regionally accredited college or university. This includes master and doctoral degrees, specialist credentials and additional endorsements. We welcome applications from candidates completing administrative credentials AND from teachers undertaking advanced curriculum work. The scholarship is not available for initial teacher training at the master’s level (e.g. Master’s in Teaching) nor for work on National Board Certification. Scholarship monies are paid directly to the college/university and go toward the recipient’s tuition. Rachel Royston funds cannot be used for travel, books, computers, childcare or fees not connected to tuition. Membership in The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is not a requirement.
