Husky Habits | #1 – Get Engaged with UWT
UW Tacoma is a pretty amazin
g place to study and work. From our world-class instruction to our involvement with the community; there are many Huskies that will say that they are living their dream by studying or working here.
One of the reasons UW Tacoma is such a great place to study and work is because our students, faculty, and staff are actively engaged in improving the UW Tacoma in small ways, such as small process improvement in a department, or in big ways, like completely overhauling the student application and admissions process.
One of the most important things you can do to help UW Tacoma do good business is to get engaged with the campus. For students that can range from giving feedback on classes to helping launch a new Student Life program. For staff and faculty that includes things like being prepared for emergencies, suggesting ideas to improve operations, or even simply participating in campus-wide surveys.
