Husky Habits | #9 – Celebrate Diversity

We Huskies strive to enrich the collective collegiate experience of all UW students, faculty and staff. One of the ways we do that is by celebrating diversity.

Universities are places where our past meets the present and we think about the future. Lessons from the past mingle with new ideas and the result of that exchange are innovations that help solve the grand challenges facing our world. Celebrating our diverse students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and community is vital to insuring an inclusive future that improves the quality of life for everyone, from our our Evergreen State to the many and even more diverse corners of the world.

From our student-focused Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity and our Race & Equity Initiative to our staff & faculty diversity programs and new Population Health Initiative, our collective and inclusive efforts to celebrate diversity will ensure a brighter future for our campus, our city, our county, our state, our nation, and the world.
