Ona Anicello,
UX Research Manager, Alaska Airlines
Ona Anicello has over 16 years of experience managing and conducting user research, teaching user centered design, and organizing UX community events. Currently she works at Alaska Airlines where she built their first ever UX research department and manages a team of researchers. Prior to Alaska Airlines, she worked for large tech companies specifically Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon where she managed research teams and led product strategy and vision. She has a entrepreneurial mindset starting a UX Research business, Fifth Element Usability, and an international social networking non-profit, BEAN. She is active in the community by organizing UX events and conferences as President of UXPA Seattle and teaching graduate courses at the University of Washington. She is a UW alumn graduating with a MS in HCDE and BS in Psychology.
Justin Marx
Senior UX Designer, AmazonJustin Marx is a UX designer at Amazon. Prior to Amazon, he was a product designer at Atlas Informatics, a Seattle-based startup focused on revolutionising personal search. Outside the office, he can be found prototyping and rapidly iterating in the kitchen, on the floor with a pile of Lego, and up in the mountains with a camera and compass.
Patrick Neeman
Senior UX Director, IcertisPatrick Neeman lives in Seattle, Washington and is currently the Director of Product Design at Apptio, an IT Spend Management platform for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that he was Director of User Experience at Jobvite, a social recruiting and applicant tracking platform where his team performed over 100 user interviews and recruiter visits to understand the hiring process. After a complete redesign of the application, Jobvite received a Webby award for employment, and the Deloitte What Works award.
Jeff Pettiross
Head of User Experience, TableauJeff has been dreaming about information design and user experience since he was a kid, spending hours sketching out interface elements for games he would write on his Radio Shack TRS-80. Since then, he has spent the last 25 years designing software and information visualizations in diverse fields including, data analysis and visualization, healthcare, project management, desktop software, and engineering. As leader of the UX design team, he races to keep up with the great ideas about flow generated by the rest of Tableau.
Telle Zeiler
Principal Researcher, NordstromTelle Zeiler is a Principal UX Researcher at Nordstrom. She provides UX research leadership and support for omni-channel programs that are creating experiences that cross both store and digital (mobile, app, web) channels. She is also a support lecturer in the HCDE masters program teaching Usability Testing (517). Previously she worked in the Nordstrom Innovation Lab using Design Thinking and Lean UX to come up with and test new and innovative business ideas with customers. She has a M.S. in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington with a concentration in user-centered design.
