The School of Dentistry and the Department of Periodontics Honor Dr. Roy C. Page

Last Friday the School of Dentistry and the Department of Periodontics came together to celebrate Dr. Roy C. Page’s 50 years of service to dentistry by naming a laboratory in his honor and unveiling a display case showcasing some of his most important awards and achievements.

Over the course of his 50 year career, Dr. Page founded the Regional Clinical Dental Research Center (RCDRC), wrote seminal papers on the biochemistry of periodontal connective tissue and the role of the cementum matrix in periodontal regeneration, and was awarded such high honors as the Norton M Ross Award for Clinical Research from the ADA and the Gies Award from the AAP.
