Last Friday, several of our UW Periodontics faculty participated in the Western Society of Periodontology Seattle Team Session. Dr. Bob London was a key organizer for the event, and Dr. Doug Dixon and Ms. Diane Daubert were two of the three speakers – lecturing to a congenial group of Seattle-area Periodontists, general dentists and their staff.

Dr. Dixon kicked off the afternoon with his talk on “Clinical and Scientific Perspectives for Craniofacial Bone Regeneration”, and Diane Daubert (one of our dental hygienists and a Clinical Instructor in the department) followed, addressing the group on “Guidelines for Maintenance of Patients with Implant-Supported Restorations: An Evidence-based Approach to Disease Prevention”.

The afternoon of continuing education was followed by a cocktail reception, where many of our faculty and alumni had a chance to catch up with each other.
