Summer 2019
  • Literature review is conducted, including writing your final paper. Each step should be completed in conjunction with regular meetings with your Faculty Mentor. Below is a suggested Summer timeline to follow:

Week 1-2:  Conduct your search, narrow down the results to the articles you will include.

Week 3-4:  Extract data from the included articles

Week 5-6:  Synthesize your results and consider how they answer your research question.

Week 7-8:  Create a draft of your Final Paper, obtain edits from your Faculty Mentor, and iteratively revise. This will usually take multiple drafts.

Week 9:     Complete your Final Paper and ensure your Faculty Mentor has approved it for submission.
