THE ZOO-BOT QUARTER:
Students participate in a combination of 3 or 4 courses:
1. Marine Zoology (FHL/BIOL 430, 5 credits) and
2. Marine Botany (FHL/BIOL 440, 5 credits) and
3. Choice of a Research Experience (6 credits):
Nearshore Ecology Research Experience (FHL 450) or
Aquatic Animals Research Experience (FHL 460)
4. Undergraduate Seminar (optional, FHL 490, 1 credit)
RESEARCH APPRENTICESHIP:
– Marine Protist Ecology (OCEAN 492, 15 credits)
SUMMER SESSION A 2015
June 15 – July 17 (5 weeks), application review Feb. 1*

– Marine Invertebrate Zoology (FHL/BIOL 432)

San Juan Archipelago (OCEAN 492, 15 credits)
MARINE BIOLOGY QUARTER (MBQ)
Students select a combination of courses from a list of
undergraduate-level course choices to total full-time
enrollment (12 or more credits). Courses to be determined.
