Johns Hopkins Summer Research Program

My name is Danielle Sullivan; I am working as a research assistant in the Psychiatry department at Hopkins Hospital, with Dr. Akira Sawa’s Lab. As a recent graduate of JHU, I know students are constantly looking for competitive summer internship opportunities. Through my department we are hosting another “Psychiatry Summer Training and Research (P-STAR) Program” specifically geared towards undergraduate students interested in Biological and Brain sciences. To provide in-depth exposure to Translational Psychiatry, we will have students work in both a laboratory setting and in clinical rotations. Each student will work under the guidance of a faculty member, and will receive a summer stipend.

Here is the link to our website and application site: [http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/psychiatry/specialty_areas/schizophrenia/research/conte_center/P-star.html]

I hope that you will pass along this information to interested students and/or post this opportunity on a website/board where it may be appropriate.

If you have any further questions, or would prefer to simply pass along my contact information, please feel free.

I look forward to hearing from you and your students! Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely,

Danielle
