Center for Experiential Learning & Diversity (EXPD) Drop-in Hours

As you may know, the Undergraduate Research Program is part of the Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity (EXPD).  EXPD is made up of nine programs that emphasize community engagement (Carlson Center, Jumpstart UW, and the Pipeline Project), research (EIP, McNair, and URP), and merit scholarships (Global Opportunities, Mary Gates Endowment for Students, and the Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards).

If you are interested in learning more about the basics of any or all of these programs, you can meet with an EXPD staff member during EXPD drop-in hours: Thursdays, 1-4 pm, 171 Mary Gates Hall.

You can also get updates via the EXPD facebook page.

URP Summer Quarter Advising

No beach vacations for the URP staff this summer. We are here and available to meet with you! We can help you plan for a research experience, find a position, get academic credit, find research funding, present or publish your research, and much more.

We will have drop-in advising on Wednesdays from 2-4pm. During that time, just drop by Mary Gates Hall 171 and check in at the front desk. No appointments necessary.

If you are unable to make it during our drop-in hours, you can contact urp@uw.edu to make an appointment. In your email, please include days and times when you are available to meet.
