Center for Experiential Learning and Diversity Student Art Show
The Center for Experiential Learning & Diversity (EXPD) invites YOU to participate in our 3rd Student Art Show!
Impact: Aspirations Shaped by Undergraduate Experiential Learning
We encourage all undergraduates who have participated in EXPD programs to submit a photograph, piece of art or writing that illuminates their experience. You don’t have to think of yourself as an artist or a photographer to participate! The piece of art can be one that you created or, if a photograph, one that was taken of you during your time here at the UW. The only requirement is that it captures a moment of discovery or exploration that you experienced (and be appropriate for display on the UW campus – no depictions of drugs, alcohol, and no explicit or offensive photos, please!).
Along with your photo or art piece, please include a short description (about one paragraph) of what’s happening in the photo/artwork, why it was a great moment, and how your participation in an EXPD program has influenced your aspirations. Deadline for submissions: April 4, 2014! Submit your descriptions and artistic works at https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/robinc/227177.
EXPD will print, mount, and/or hang all pieces in our Center accepted by April 11, 2014. You will be invited (along with your family, friends, and other supporters) to an Art Opening and celebration of the submissions in EXPD on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.
EXPD Programs:
Carlson Center for Service & Leadership; Early Identification Program (EIP); Global Opportunties; Jumpstart; Mary Gates Endowment; McNair Program; Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards; Pipeline Project and Undergraduate Research Program
