Research Opportunity: Examination of Conflict at Workplaces in Healthcare

Descrip­tion:

The UW Medicine Patient Safety Innovations Program research team is seeking highly motivated undergraduate students to assist on a literature review project.

The main tasks include the following:

  1.  Work with a team of researchers in identifying articles, collecting, and categorizing articles related to conflict in healthcare
  2. Read and code articles based on a formal coding scheme that the team will develop
  3. Assist with analyzing synthesized information from article reviews
  4. Assist the team with manuscript writing
  5. Attend regular team meetings

Require­ments:

An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills
  2. Excellent organizational and follow through skills
  3. Ability to read scientific studies and extract targeted information
  4. Attention to detail is an absolute must
  5. Ability to work as a team member
