There is still room left for additional scientists to participate in Paws-on Science. If you or your group have not signed up already, please consider taking part in this terrific event, scheduled for Friday to Sunday, April 4–6. This is a great opportunity to engage the public, gain experience presenting your research, and increase visibility of your efforts.
If you’re interested in taking part in the 2014 Paws-on Science, please register by February 21. If you have any questions, please email McCayla Butler at mcbutler[at]uw.edu or call her at 206.543.1867.
The fifth Paws-on-Science weekend has been scheduled for Friday, April 4 – Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Pacific Science Center. During the past four years of Paws-on Science, more than 1,100 UW scientists have shared their work through hands-on activities with close to 47,000 adults and children. A follow-up survey this year found that 97% of the visitors surveyed indicated they would return to next year’s Paws-on Science weekend.
