Join us at the UW Undergraduate Research Symposium this Friday, May 20th!

We are pleased to invite UW and Seattle community members to attend the 19th Annual UW Undergraduate Research Symposium this Friday, May 20th! This event is open to the public.

What: More than 1,000 students will present their research in a wide range of disciplines, from aerospace to philosophy, international studies to design, anthropology to computer science, and just about everything in between.
When: Friday, May 20, 2016 , 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where: Mary Gates Hall*, UW Seattle
Why: To celebrate UW Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Work!

*MGH is the main venue, though there will be sessions, showcases, and performances going on in other buildings on campus as well.

UW Bothell Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, May 13th, 2016!

UW Bothell is hosting their Undergraduate Research and Creative Practice Symposium TOMORROW! Check it out: 10am-5pm on Friday, May 13th, in the ARC on the UW Bothell campus.

17th Annual UW Undergraduate Research Symposium

The 17th Annual UW Undergraduate Research Symposium will be held on May 16, 2014 in Mary Gates Hall. UW President Michael K. Young will give the event welcome at 11am (full schedule below).

This year, more than 1,100 undergraduates will present their work. The 2014 Symposium will also feature the inaugural Visual Arts & Design Showcase.

Are you an undergraduate student involved in research? Apply to present your work at the 2014 UW Undergraduate Research Symposium. Last year, more than 1,000 undergraduates participated in the Symposium, presenting on topics ranging from the world of synthetic chemistry to the realm of dance. To learn more and start an application, visit the Undergraduate Research Symposium section of our website. All UW undergraduates involved in research are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is February 24, 2014.
