Rural PREP Microresearch Funding

What is microresearch?  Microresearch is a community-based research approach that supports, with small “see grant” funding, locally generated and implemented projects leading to local solutions to problems in underserved communities, resulting in big impact.

During your WRITE experience, you will have the opportunity to complete a community project.  Below is information on a microresearch funding opportunity through Rural PREP (the Collaborative for Rural Primary Care, Research, Education, and Practice) that can provide resources for you to build a more robust project in your community.

Applications are currently open and are due by May 26, 2020.  Awards up to $4,000  will be given to learners with a focus in rural primary care, rural population health, and/or rural health workforce education and training.  A faculty mentor will be assigned by Rural PREP or approved as requested by the student.

This is a great opportunity to take your WRITE Community Project one-step further with the opportunity for presentation and/or publication!
